This recipe won my sister the
blue ribbon at the county fair!
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon nutmeg
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
16 ounce can of pumpkin
Sift together dry ingredients. Blend oil, eggs, water and pumpkin. Blend
together with dry ingredients. Blend well. Pour into 3 buttered and floured loaf
pans. Bake at 350º for 50 to 60 minutes
