2 cups chopped dates
2 cups chopped walnuts
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
4 egg yolks (beaten)
4 egg whites (beaten stiff)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 325º. Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar. Fold in egg
whites. Add egg yolks and vanilla, blend. Add dates and walnuts, blend
thoroughly. Pour into prepared pan. Bake until done.
