Many in Lake Havasu City were keeping an eye on American Idol this season. One reason was contestant, Phil Stacey, who is the nephew of John Stacey, Designated Broker and owner of Lake Havasu City’s Heirloom Realty.
On March 27 John Stacey and his daughter Lacy, traveled to
Hollywood California to be part of the audience in Tuesday night's taping.
John proudly wore his specially made T-Shirt, which solicited
votes for his nephew and displayed a photo of Phil. Back in Havasu, John’s
friends were happy to catch several glimpses of both he and Lacy, in the
audience.

John made a pitch to his friends at home to vote for his
nephew, when he held up a sign asking Lake Havasu City to vote for Phil. John's
sign was viewed on the national program. And today the sign hangs in the front
window of the Heirloom Realty office, at 2150 McCulloch Blvd.
Phil made it to the final 6 contestants, yet on May 2, 2007
Phil and contestant Chris Richardson did not make the cut. Yet this is hardly
the end for Phil or Chris, who will still be going on tour with the final ten
contestants. Looks like a bright future ahead for Phil Stacey. Phil, Lake Havasu

John can get back to work!)
