Self Puppet

Don't let the simplicity of this craft fool you. children love playing with a stick puppet in their likeness. Avoid instant Polaroid prints, as then tend to separate. Use a picture printed out from your computer, which will allow you to enlarge to desired size, or a full length photograph.

Materials Needed:

Full body photograph of the child (from head to toe. )
Scissors
Wooden ice cream stick
Glue stick

Directions:
Cut out the entire figure in photograph. Use the glue stick to attach photo onto top half of the wooden stick. If you are using a larger photo, and it flops around too much, reinforce it by gluing it to cardboard, and then cut out the picture/cardboard shape. Once the picture is firmly attached to the wooden stick, you can hold the end of the stick to position your self puppet.
